Your Responsibilities

As a project manager, you have overall responsibility for the management and development of the organization's digital support in geographic information. You lead and coordinate the work together with the unit's object specialists and ensure that the projects develop in line with the organization's and customers' needs.

You act as a bridge between the organization and the digitalization and IT department and enjoy working with IT technical issues. The municipality uses a PM3-like object management model, and you work with and develop our digital support for more effective solutions based on the organization's and customers' needs. You collaborate with key individuals for the office's other projects and other office projects. You play an important role in system procurements.

As part of the role, you also work partially operationally as a GIS engineer. This involves tasks related to Norrköping's development, where you for example: structure, store and document geodata, process and analyze data from various databases, files, APIs, and sources, as well as visualize results in internal and external web maps.

The operational GIS role contributes to strengthening project leadership through good understanding of operations and proximity to users' needs.

Who are you?

You have a degree of at least three years from a university or college relevant to the position, such as GIS engineer or other education deemed equivalent. You have previous experience working with digital management of geographic information and experience leading projects.

You have knowledge in database management (PostGres/PostGIS), SQL server, web programming, visualization and mapping of geodata, possess good spatial ability, and find it exciting to visualize information in 2D and 3D using maps.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with different types of databases and database modeling, preferably in programs such as FME Form/FME Flow and QGIS. We would also like you to be able to program in Python.

As a person, you are structured and can prioritize and organize tasks based on urgency and importance. You analyze information effectively, investigate and establish causes of problems, and propose solutions.

You represent your employer as a good ambassador when meeting Norrköping's municipal customers and citizens. You work customer-focused, identify needs, and enjoy delivering value to customers. Furthermore, you have the ability to adapt your communication based on the recipient so that the information is conveyed clearly and securely.

You work independently and prioritize your tasks effectively. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and information and contributing to a pleasant workplace.

You are comfortable delegating work to your colleagues based on their knowledge, skills, and experience. At the same time, you empower and encourage others to make decisions and act within their own area of responsibility.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Welcome with your application!
