Main Responsibilities

If you want to have overall responsibility for one or more departments and lead employees, the role of Team Leader for Grocery is just right for you.

  • You are responsible for purchasing and sales as well as ensuring that the department achieves our jointly set goals.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that customers have a good experience with us. The customer is at the core of our business, and therefore daily customer contact is important for creating a positive store experience.
  • Together with your employees, you will secure profitability and ensure that routines are followed as well as monitor gross profit and sales.
  • As a Team Leader, you will have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring that employees receive the right information, develop, and thrive, as well as ensuring that work in the store runs smoothly. You will also be part of the store's management team.

The position is full-time with an initial probationary period of 6 months.

Start date: By agreement.

Working hours: You will alternate between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.

What We Expect from You

Being interested in food, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people is a prerequisite for the role. Below you can see what else is expected of you as Team Leader for Grocery at Hemköp in Jakobsberg Centrum.

  • You should have knowledge of the products that fall within your area of responsibility.
  • You need to be familiar with basic economic key figures and have experience working in retail.
  • As a Team Leader, your leadership is important. You need to be good at explaining routines, describing the goals the store should achieve, and identifying the challenges that exist.
  • It is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Equally important is your ability to delegate work, both give and receive feedback, and not shy away from driving through changes.
