Who are we?
The main mission of the Health and Care Office is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance for people at different stages of life. We are also responsible for providing meals to preschools, schools, and the operations of the Health and Care Office. We work with a user-oriented approach where the work is guided by and based on the needs of the user.
Together, we are responsible for leading the operations towards set goals and creating a meaningful and safe everyday life for all those in need of our help. With us, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop both as an employee and as a person.
The unit at Gamla Lasarettsgatan 39:1 is centrally located, just behind the fire station. Our geographical area is large and stretches from Ektorp to Klingsberg to the center.
The unit has a shared leadership between two managers who work closely together for the common unit. Our team consists of approximately 52 employees and is divided into 7 care teams. In the care teams, you will work together as a team around the user.
Our operations are scheduled between 06:30-22:00 every day of the week and you will work every other weekend.
Your tasks
You will provide our users with good and safe care in their homes by paying attention to and meeting their physical, mental, and social needs. You will assist users with tasks they cannot manage on their own.
The services may include assistance with hygiene, dressing, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, escorting, accompanying on walks, and reducing loneliness through social time together with users.
Documentation is an important part of your work, and as an employee with us, you are expected to handle administrative tasks such as documentation, orders, and recording deviations. You will work according to the planning tool TES as well as time and service registration.
You will maintain close contact management and continuously establish and follow up on implementation plans together with the user. Furthermore, you will have ongoing dialogue with users, relatives, health and medical care (HSV), and authorities, and be attentive to changing needs.
You will also work on developing our operations by identifying deficiencies, writing risk assessments, and contributing to the unit's development in line with set goals. Collaboration with colleagues and management is important to provide the user with the care they are entitled to.
Together, we are responsible for leading the operations towards our set goals, where the knowledge, competence, and participation of all employees are crucial for the quality of the operations.
Through various representative roles, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop in your professional role while contributing to the development of the operations.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a care assistant education according to the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare. You preferably have experience working with people who need assistance in everyday life in various ways and experience meeting people with different types of mental diagnoses.
You need to be able to cycle to get around the area. You are also accustomed to working with documentation and implementation plans. To participate in medication administration to our users, we also require that you have delegation.
To thrive in home care, we see that you are flexible and can quickly adapt to changing conditions and situations. You remain calm and are confident in your professional role when meeting users, colleagues, and other actors.
Since the work is largely solitary, it places high demands on you to be accustomed to making decisions based on available information and possible alternatives, and it also requires that you have a good ability to prioritize in stressful situations.
As a person, you have good communication skills. You enjoy and are capable of working both independently and together with colleagues. You have a positive attitude towards work, enjoy working with people, and follow the routines that exist in the operations.
You work from a professional and rehabilitative approach with the user at the center. You express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish.
