We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer for an exciting Trial & Hire assignment in product development within a technology-intensive and international environment. The role is based in a product lab and has a clear focus on testing, prototype development, and validation of new products where mechanics, electronics, and software interact.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer in the product lab, your main purpose is to accelerate the development of innovative products by turning ideas into verified and tested concepts. You will be a central technical resource in the R&D process and work closely with design, development, and testing teams in both local and global contexts.

The role is suitable for you who enjoys hands-on work, technical responsibility, and wants to have a significant impact on the final design and quality of the product.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and further develop test setups for prototypes
• Ensure functionality, performance, and quality within mechanics, electronics, and software
• Collaborate closely with development, design, and testing teams
• Develop measurement methods and ensure high data quality and traceability
• Analyze test results and contribute to well-founded design decisions
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems in early development phases
• Improve lab environments, testing processes, and working methods
• Provide technical insights for product strategy and future technology choices

Requirements

• Experience in mechanics and prototype development
• Good understanding of electronics and embedded systems
• Experience in test design, measurement methods, and lab environments
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
