Description
Santosskolan and Herrgårdsskolan in Hisingen are jointly seeking a school psychologist for a total of 100% until May 2027.
Herrgårdsskolan is a F-6 school in Hisingen with approximately 360 students and 50 staff. Santosskolan is located at Campus Lindholmen and started with the school year beginning in the autumn of 2015. The school accommodates over 420 students in grades 7–9 and about 50 staff. Since autumn 2021, Santosskolan and Herrgårdsskolan together form the school area Hisingen 8.
Job Responsibilities
As our colleague will be on parental leave, we are now looking for a psychologist who wants to work 50% at Herrgårdsskolan and 50% at Santosskolan.
As a psychologist, you are part of the student health team (EHT) together with the school nurse, special teachers, special educators, school social workers, and school management. The student health service is organized under the principal who directs and leads the work of student health at the school.
Together with your colleagues in EHT, you primarily work from a preventive and health-promoting perspective. You conduct various forms of investigations at the request of the principal. For the parts that fall under the Health and Medical Services Act, a quality management system has been developed, and a PLA supports, follows up, and quality reviews the work of psychologists.
Common tasks for the psychologist in the school may include:
- supervising individual teachers or work teams
- providing training for other professionals in relevant areas, such as mental health
- conducting various forms of individual assessments
- collaborating with both internal and external actors, such as guardians and care neighbors
- contributing to and participating in school development work and value-based work
As a psychologist in the Hisingen educational area, you have a psychologist group of nearly 20 people readily available, including professional developers and PLA. The group strives for a culture of collaboration and meets regularly for collegial support, training, supervision, and professional development. Newly hired psychologists are always offered a mentor.

Qualifications
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed psychologist. You have knowledge of and experience in driving development work. You have good knowledge in the NPF area and IF and are well acquainted with appropriate testing instruments.
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience working in schools/preschools or experience working with children and adolescents
- some form of further education regarding supervision/consultation methodology
- experience in conducting investigations
- knowledge of PAX/supervisor training for PAX
- knowledge of CPS
- good knowledge and experience with PMO
