Together we develop Sahlgrenska University Hospital for a sustainable future

We are transforming healthcare with the goal of becoming Europe's leading university hospital by 2032. Together with our patients, we work for quality, accessibility, patient safety, research, education, and innovation – in a cohesive healthcare system in the Västra Götaland region. Our vision and goals aim for care of the highest quality, where the patient is always in focus. We provide healthcare locally and regionally, but also highly specialized care to patients across the country and abroad. Our employees are our strength and contribute to knowledge exchange nationally and internationally. With digital tools and new working methods, we can simplify everyday life at the hospital and offer modern, accessible, and efficient care of the highest quality.

About us

The Psychosis Clinic Nordost (PNO) is a psychiatric outpatient clinic for individuals with psychotic disorders. We are centrally located in Gamlestaden and work with the districts of Angered, Kortedala, and Bergsjön. Our operations are based on the community-based method program Integrated Psychiatry/R-ACT, where care and support measures are tailored to each patient's goals, resources, and needs. Relatives are seen as an important part of the care.

The team is multidisciplinary and consists of doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, nurses, physiotherapists, mental health workers, medical secretaries, section leaders, and unit managers. Together, we work to provide our patients with the best possible care and support in their daily lives.

What do we offer you?

With us, you will find a stimulating and meaningful job in an engaged team where we support each other, share knowledge, and collaborate closely in our daily work. You will receive an individually tailored introduction and mentoring, both in the role of caregiver and as a case manager. We work with team supervision that both develops competence and creates a positive work environment.

Job responsibilities

The work is varied – you will meet patients during outpatient visits, conduct home visits, and collaborate with social services and inpatient care. It requires flexibility, curiosity, and good collaboration skills, but gives much back in terms of learning, development, and community.

We are now looking for a temporary caregiver for one year, who wants to become part of our dedicated team – could it be you?

About you

You are a trained caregiver and want to work in an environment where engagement, development, and collaboration are in focus. Experience in psychiatric care is an advantage. The role involves working both as a caregiver and as a case manager, responsible for interventions according to the R-ACT model.

You need to be able to work independently but also collaborate closely with colleagues and partners. We value engagement, flexibility, and accountability. Being attentive, meticulous, and having a sense of humor helps you create security and participation in meetings with patients and colleagues.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Warm welcome with your application!
