About the position

We are looking for you who want to work as a nursing assistant or caregiver and become part of our fantastic team where care, safety, and professionalism are at the center.

With us, you will meet a developing organization, with short-term placements, SÄBO, and close collaboration between care staff, nurses, rehabilitation, and management. We work together to create the best possible everyday life for our residents.

Your tasks include:

• Receiving delegated tasks regarding medication, catheter changes, wound dressing, sampling, etc.
• Digital documentation.

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Be a trained nursing assistant or have experience as a caregiver.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Applied for a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare if you are a trained nursing assistant.

You have a warm demeanor with a genuine commitment to elderly care and you want to contribute to a safe and positive environment for our residents. You are flexible, responsible, and good at collaborating, which makes you thrive in a diverse team consisting of various professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and have the ability to focus on your task. Ängsgården is a nursing home located centrally in Norrtälje and has 42 apartments. Ängsro short-term accommodation is located in the same building and offers service and the same good care around the clock but for a limited period. We work according to the humanistic approach of person-centered care.

Miscellaneous

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to hold the title of nursing assistant. You apply for the certificate on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website. If you have care and nursing education according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations but have not yet received the professional certificate, you can instead be employed with the title of care assistant/caregiver.

In this process, we will check citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
