Svea Gymnasium is now seeking a medically responsible School Nurse for part-time work (25%) at our high school in Sollentuna. The role is an important part of the school's student health team and combines medical responsibility, student-centered work, collaboration, and the development of the school's health-promoting efforts.

About the role

As a school nurse at Svea Gymnasium, you will work both independently and in close collaboration with other professionals within student health. You will be responsible for the school's medical interventions, health visits, and counseling according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare, and actively contribute to the development of student health work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health visits and health talks according to national guidelines
• Be responsible for vaccinations according to the national vaccination program
• Work preventively and health-promoting in collaboration with the student health team
• Provide medical advice to students, guardians, and staff
• Document in the student health journal system and ensure correct medical handling
• Participate in EHT meetings and contribute to the school's systematic quality work
• Identify needs and work with preventive measures regarding attendance, mental health, and lifestyle habits
• Contribute to the further development of structures, routines, and quality work within student health

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has further education as a specialist nurse in pediatrics, district nurse, or school nurse
• Has experience working with children and youth
• Is confident in your professional role and enjoys working independently
• Is structured, attentive, and has a professional demeanor
• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams
• Is accustomed to documenting according to applicable regulations
• Experience from student health or high school is highly meritorious
