About the position

We are now looking for a resident physician to be placed at Norrtälje Södra healthcare center, located next to Norrtälje Hospital. As a resident physician in primary care at Tiohundra, you will be offered a flexible working environment. We offer local training days, in addition to your own study time and joint training with the ST-forum Nordost within Region Stockholm.

We have a pleasant atmosphere in the workgroup. As a resident physician with us, you will quickly notice the close and personal contact with both specialists at Norrtälje Hospital and staff at other healthcare centers.

The position is full-time. According to the Stockholm region's policy, employment begins with a 3-month probationary period if you have not previously worked with us. This time will then be credited towards your residency.

Start date by agreement. Selection may occur continuously, but interviews will begin in early March.

Your responsibilities include:

• Approximately 20% continuing education throughout the residency period, including study time, courses, lectures, and group meetings
• Standard reception work, including annual check-ups and investigations, acute visits, minor surgical procedures, gynecology, eye and ear diseases, and much more
• Home healthcare
• Rounds with a nurse
• Ongoing quality work both at your own unit and collectively in primary care TioHundra
• Supervision of students and other professional categories

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Have a Swedish medical license.
• Have at least six months of clinical work within Swedish primary care, either through Swedish AT training or through at least six months of practical service.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Experience with the Take Care journal system.

About us

Norrtälje Södra healthcare center has approximately 11,400 registered patients and about 35 employees. The healthcare center is located in central Norrtälje.

At the healthcare center, you will have colleagues with high competence and long experience. We are a stable staff group with broad expertise characterized by a good working climate and collaboration across professional boundaries. We have diabetes nurses, heart failure nurses, asthma/COPD clinics, and a geriatric clinic. The healthcare center also has a rehab team with a social worker and psychologist, as well as a rehabilitation coordinator. All staff categories are engaged in student supervision in one way or another, something we believe contributes to us often receiving top ratings from our medical candidates. A good sign is that our resident physicians have chosen to stay with us after completing their residency - something we are very proud of!
