We are now looking for a nursing assistant for Viksjö's care and nursing home. The facility consists of 40 apartments, distributed over four departments. Three of the departments are focused on dementia and one on somatic care. It is centrally located and beautifully situated along Viksjöleden with a short walking distance to Viksjö center and close to public transport.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work according to a schedule during the day and evening and every other weekend. And anything can happen. You need to be ready to perform all tasks that arise - we work with and for people and their best interests, so it becomes problematic to think too much inside the box. However, to make it a bit clearer, you are expected to help and support the residents with all forms of hygiene, toilet visits, medications, cleaning, various purchases, meals, and above all, social interaction. It should be safe and pleasant to live at Viksjö! Furthermore, as mentioned, anything can happen - so be prepared to help with plant care and assist with WiFi or troubleshoot an AC.

We also need to document what we do. And we do this based on IBIC in the operational system Lifecare. IBIC is, by the way, more than documentation - it is our entire approach. So see it as your primary task: to put the individual's needs at the center. You will perform all the above tasks based on that. Clear, right?

We also want to continuously develop and improve. Therefore, you need to use your courage and commitment to report, analyze, and learn from the deviations that occur in the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be a trained nursing assistant and have previously worked in a care and nursing home. Furthermore, we are looking for a flexible employee who can work as needed throughout the facility. This position you are applying for is in our somatic department, and that is where you will be based.

Additionally, you need to understand what we mean by IBIC, that is, what it means to have the individual's needs at the center - how to implement it in practice. You can both speak, understand, and write Swedish and can thus document and communicate where needed.

We also hope that you have an interest in developing some part of the operation. We work with ambassador roles where we together take extra responsibility for different parts of the operation. So you also need to be an ambassador - maybe meals, documentation, or activities are your thing? And last but not least - you find it enjoyable and want to work in elderly care! Because we do!
