The Health and Medical Care Unit (HSE) is responsible for health and medical care within the municipality's special accommodations and LSS operations throughout Upplands-Bro municipality.

As a physiotherapist, you will be employed by HSE but work in various operations.

Job Description

As a physiotherapist, you are responsible for assessment, training, and treatment within your area of expertise. You conduct needs assessments for assistive devices, prescribe and follow up on assistive devices, and educate on the safe handling of the assistive devices used in the operations. A significant part of the job is to guide and inform individuals, relatives, and staff, be a resource in a rehabilitative approach, and contribute to operational development. You collaborate closely with nurses and occupational therapists in the team, as well as with staff at the accommodations and in daily activities, and external actors such as habilitation and primary care. You have joint meetings and conduct patient visits together when needed. The work is varied and requires broad competence, flexibility, and the ability to adapt interventions to the individual's needs and life situation.

In the assignment within our LSS operations, you will meet individuals aged 20 and above with approved interventions according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physiotherapist
• Has experience working with the target group within LSS/social psychiatry (documented experience is an advantage)
• Has a good ability to work independently and in a team
• Is familiar with prescribing and following up on assistive devices
• Has very good Swedish skills in speech and writing
• Holds a B driver's license
