Capio Geriatrics Nacka is located in Nacka Hospital, Ektorp. The operation focuses on care and commitment. With approximately 70 care places, Capio Geriatrics Nacka provides care in several units where both managers and specialist doctors are present. The care teams always work with a rehabilitative and person-centered perspective as a foundation.

The paramedical unit consists of a team of engaged, curious, and collaborative employees – including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and speech therapists, as well as health and medical care social workers.

Your Role

As a physiotherapist with us, you will be a key person in the rehabilitation work for elderly patients aimed at promoting health and preventing illness. You will be responsible for mapping and investigating previous activity and mobility abilities, performing assessments, treatments, and follow-ups of movement, balance, and functional abilities, as well as assessing the need for assistive devices in consultation with the patient and the team. You will participate in rehabilitation rounds with other professionals.

You will work closely with occupational therapists and other professional groups. Documentation in the journal system, planning of rehabilitation efforts, and contributing to development work and quality work are also part of the role.

Capio Elderly and Mobile Care practices probationary employment. We conduct verification of credentials (licensed physiotherapist).

About You

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in geriatrics, primary care, or rehabilitation is an advantage.

You are confident in your profession, work independently, and enjoy being part of a team. You thrive with freedom under your own responsibility and are reliable and unpretentious. You can structure your work effectively based on the day's needs, you are used to teamwork, and have an inclusive and friendly attitude. You have a sense of responsibility and are solution-focused. You contribute to knowledge exchange and see development opportunities. You have good communication skills, can document and follow up on efforts in the journal, and communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Working Hours and Employment

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday with some weekend work. The form of employment can be adjusted based on the needs of the operation. Start date according to agreement.
