Welcome to Brommaplan Health Center!

You now have the opportunity to become a part of Brommaplan Health Center!

Here, a knowledgeable team of specialists in general medicine works alongside resident and intern doctors.

We have a wonderful camaraderie and plenty of laughter over morning coffee and lunch. We are looking for someone who is passionate about general medicine and views the breadth of the specialty with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Brommaplan Health Center is centrally located in the western suburbs, with the subway as our nearest neighbor and excellent cycling paths leading into the city and to other nearby suburbs. We are a large health center with 19,500 registered patients who visit us for acute conditions as well as for scheduled appointments. We meet patients physically or via video and can easily communicate through our chat. The health center has a large psychosocial team for treatment and assessment, and it has an extended mandate for children and youth. Our experienced rehabilitation coordinator is also part of the team, providing significant support to the doctors. There is a stable group of district nurses at the health center who manage the diabetes clinic, asthma-COPD clinic, and wound care. Every day, a specialist doctor is available for advice and support to both nurses and doctor colleagues.

As a specialist doctor with us, you will have your own patient list and the opportunity to follow your patients throughout their lives. We strive for continuity with the goal of approaching 1,100 registered patients per specialist. We are currently piloting a doctor-led appointment booking system, which provides good control over your own schedule. In the same building, there is a child health center (BVC) where you can also work. We have a large home care service, and a geriatrician works here, contributing to valuable knowledge exchanges between our specialties.

We offer you

  • Customized scheduling during your initial period of employment to help you settle into the work
  • Clear frameworks and the ability to adjust your schedule according to your preferences
  • Continuing education
  • Opportunity to work from home part of your workweek
  • Supervision of resident doctors, interns, and medical students
  • Multiple benefits, including wellness grants, free healthcare, and options for salary exchange. You can read more about this on Benefits at Stockholm County's Healthcare (regionstockholm.se)

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a specialist in general medicine with a few years of experience and is interested in supervising residents
  • Is positive, flexible, and self-driven in your work
  • Wants to share your broad knowledge with both colleagues and our patients
