Physiotherapist at the Rehabilitation Unit

As a physiotherapist at the Rehabilitation Unit, you will work in a competent and welcoming team focused on patient-centered care.

About the Position

The position primarily targets our home rehabilitation in Norrtälje and Rimbo, with the Rehabilitation Unit at Norrtälje Hospital as the base.

You will work variably and become part of a dynamic team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and caregivers who together create good results for patients. Together with an occupational therapist, you will guide the care teams in a rehabilitative approach and contribute to increased independence and quality of life for patients.

The position is full-time, daytime Monday to Friday.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Visiting patients at home and making professional assessments.
• Supporting and motivating patients in their rehabilitation.
• Training patients.
• Prescribing assistive devices.
• Working with fall prevention and enhancing safety around patients.
• Collaborating closely with nurses and care staff.
• Documenting in TakeCare.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed Physiotherapist.
• Have a B driver's license for manual transmission and driving experience.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Previous experience in the profession
