Do you want to make a difference and be part of our team for continued development? Johannas Trädgård in Täby Kyrkby is now looking for two care assistants, preferably with specialist competence in dementia or elderly care.

About the Job

The work as a care assistant is a varied job that suits you who are driven by making a difference for our elderly. Your tasks include working for person-centered care and together with colleagues being part of a team of other professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers. Contact with the residents' relatives is also included, which is an important cornerstone of the work.

Creating a sense of home and meaningfulness for the residents is an important part of the job. In addition to this, the tasks include performing both medical and rehabilitative interventions through delegation from a nurse and rehab team. Our employees work on a rolling schedule in 6-week periods, with day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend.

About Johannas Trädgård

Johannas Trädgård is a care and nursing home with 86 apartments spread over three floors. We have both dementia and somatic orientations. Johannas Trädgård is Silviahemmet certified, which means that all permanent staff have undergone training through Silviahemmet's care philosophy.

The elderly care within Täby municipality promotes digital development in work through documentation and various digital signing systems.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained care assistant with 1500 points or comparable validated education according to the decision on protected job title for care assistants.
• Is a specialist care assistant in dementia or elderly care – considered meritorious.
• Expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since communication and documentation are important work tools in our operations, this is a requirement.
• Has experience in elderly care.
• Feels comfortable using digital aids. Täby municipality promotes digital development in work through documentation and various digital signing systems.
• Knowledge of the journal system Pulsen Combine, AlfaSign it, EasitGo, and Medvind is meritorious.

You have the ability to meet people in different situations in a professional manner and find joy in helping and supporting people in their daily lives. As a person, you are responsible and flexible, and have the ability to maintain a holistic perspective. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
