Hospitals near Oslo are seeking midwives for both longer and shorter assignments during the summer.

Shifts are distributed between combined maternity and postnatal departments as well as an observation unit for pregnant women. Experience with both normal and complicated deliveries is therefore a requirement. Experience in monitoring and following up complicated pregnancies and inducing labor is also an advantage.

The department uses the following journal/documentation systems:

• DIPS

• Partus

• Milou

• Metavision

If you do not live in the area, Dedicare will cover travel to and from the assignment location and provide accommodation during the assignment periods.

 

Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization as a midwife

• Experience from larger maternity departments and pathological/complicated deliveries

• STAN certification may be required

• Updated practical CPR training within the last year

• Preferably experience with DIPS Arena/Partus

• Very good knowledge of a Nordic language, both spoken and written
