The Everyday Support and Employment unit consists of six teams that work closely together, providing residential support within social psychiatry, family counseling, integration, daily activities under LSS, and the labor market unit.

We are now looking for a job coach for our team. The work is carried out based on each individual's needs and conditions to facilitate a transition from unemployment/sick leave to work or studies. In your role as a job coach, you will practically and pedagogically guide participants in various tasks to test and develop their work abilities and skills. You will collaborate with the unit's labor market consultants, where together with the participant, you will create an individual action plan. Together with other employees in the unit, you will help develop the operations to meet the participants' needs in the future.

In addition to various labor market initiatives, we collaborate with the municipality's daily activities under LSS, social psychiatry's employment, and the reception of newcomers. In the operations, participants have the opportunity to practice work with various tasks, such as lawn mowing, snow shoveling, dismantling, recycling, carpentry, cleaning, car washing, transportation, etc. Activities change over time based on needs and seasons. Among other things, the team is responsible for the employment initiatives of the operations.

We are a unit that makes a difference for the residents of Gullspång Municipality.

We collaborate with, among others, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Public Employment Service, the Swedish Migration Agency, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, Individual and Family Care, various educational coordinators, and the local business community.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your knowledge and experience.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with/mentoring individuals from various backgrounds and conditions, who may have mental and/or physical health issues or disabilities. You should be comfortable working with people in different situations. The work requires you to be able to work both independently and as part of a team, flexibly and responsibly. You should be a positive role model, interested in working with people's development, and have the ability to create trusting relationships. You need to have good planning, organizational, and collaborative skills.

Driver's license minimum B

Brush cutter and chainsaw certification is a merit.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate both internally and externally and are used to working in a structured and goal-oriented manner. You are a flexible person who finds it stimulating to be in change. Experience working with the target group is a merit.
