We are looking for a dedicated social worker for the Family Home Center in Borås City! With us, you are an important part of the work to create safety and stability for children placed in foster care. Together, we wholeheartedly work for the best interests of the children and families.

The Family Home Center actively works to increase the number of its own foster homes and has a clear plan for focus and development issues. The organization consists of social workers, foster home coordinators, educators, method supervisors, and unit managers who together create a strong whole. We develop our working methods through, among other things, Signs of Safety, Parents at a Distance, participate in the Professional Journey, and offer regular external supervision - all to ensure that you feel secure and can develop in your role.
Social Worker for the Family Home CenterJob ResponsibilitiesAs a social worker at the Family Home Center, you are the spider in the web and coordinate collaboration between foster homes, biological parents, schools, and other important actors around the child. The three-part parenthood should be at the center of our work. You are responsible for investigations, follow-ups, and ensuring that documentation is kept up to date in our operational system Viva. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the responsible foster home coordinator for each case.
Additional InformationBefore an employment offer is made, a police record extract must be presented.
Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
QualificationsTo become our next colleague, you need to have a degree in social work. You are accustomed to documentation and have experience in authority exercise, preferably within Children and Youth. Training in Signs of Safety and MI is a significant plus. As a person, you are flexible, positive about development, and enjoy structure. You work methodically, can prioritize smartly, and thrive in a team environment that contributes to a good work atmosphere. You find it easy to build long-term relationships, value quality in your work, and understand the importance of thorough documentation.
A driver's license (B) is required as travel is part of the job, sometimes even over several days.
