SUMMER TEMPORARY WORKERS – ADONIA CARE / THE NEXT STEP
We are now looking for dedicated summer temporary workers for our operations in Gothenburg, Mölndal, Borås, Uddevalla, and Sollebrunn.
We offer supported housing, HVB homes, and apartment living where we work based on the Social Services Act (SoL 2001:453). Our clients often face psychosocial difficulties and/or substance abuse issues. We also have an LSS residence (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) in Sollebrunn that is looking for summer temporary workers.
As a summer temporary worker with us, you will have a meaningful role where you contribute to a safe and stable environment for our clients.
Ideally, we prefer that you have experience in social work. We work with people who fight every day for a better life and well-being.

Responsibilities and Duties
Apartment Living (all locations)
As a temporary support and treatment educator, you will work independently and with great responsibility close to the clients in their homes. Your tasks may include:
- Support in finding and maintaining your own housing.
- Reminders and assistance during meetings with social services and authorities.
- Support in ADL (Activities of Daily Living).
- Transporting clients to external meetings and treatments.
- Conversations about substance abuse, relapses, and social difficulties.
- Explanation of authority decisions and support during reactions to these.
- Testing (e.g., urine tests)
It is largely solitary work but with close collaboration with colleagues and coordinators/unit managers. You need to be calm and secure as a person. You will collaborate with other authorities, especially social services. As a person, we wish for you to be empathetic even if you sometimes need to set boundaries.
Responsibilities at HVB Home (Mölndal)
As a staff member at our HVB home for boys aged 15–19, you will work to create a safe and stable everyday life for the residents. Your tasks include:
- Daily support and supervision – helping the youth with routines, schooling, and social training.
- Conversation support and relationship building – motivating and guiding through structured conversations.
- Safety and conflict management – ensuring a calm environment and handling challenging situations.
- ADL training – supporting in daily activities such as cooking, hygiene, and cleaning.
- Substance abuse and risk management – discussing risk behaviors and conducting testing when necessary.
- Collaboration and documentation – cooperating with social services, schools, and healthcare providers, as well as keeping records in INFOSOC.
- Night duty and on-call – during sleeping duty, you are solely responsible with support from backup.
- The work follows guidelines according to the Social Services Act (SoL), LVU (Care of Young People Act)
Responsibilities at LSS Residence
- Educational support in daily activities
- Support with ADL (activities of daily living)
- Conversation support
- Support during healthcare visits
- Support with daily activities
Qualifications and Requirements
To thrive and succeed in the role, we hope you have:
✅ A valid driver's license and experience driving for work.
✅ Experience in social work, care, treatment, or educational work.
✅ Education in social pedagogy, behavioral science, care and nursing, or similar (or ongoing studies in the field. Applies to HVB, Supported Housing, and Social Housing with support and protection)
✅ Trained nursing assistant (Group Housing LSS)
✅ Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written – you will document in our journal system.
✅ A calm and stable personality with the ability to create and maintain professional relationships.
✅ Clean extracts from the criminal and suspicion register (according to the Act (2013:852) on background checks of persons working with children).
Working Hours and Employment Conditions
Apartment Living:
- Working hours: Weekdays 09:00–21:00, weekends 10:00–19:00.
- Average weekly working hours: 37 hours.
- On-call duty is included.
HVB Home:
- Work shifts with sleeping duty.
LSS Residence:
- Work shifts with sleeping duty.
Supported Housing and Social Housing with support:
- Requires on-call availability in the evenings, nights, and weekends.
- On-call time means you must be able to arrive within 30–60 minutes if needed, there is always someone on backup.
- Company car can be taken home during on-call time (not for private use).
- The employment is covered by a collective agreement, which provides you with secure employment conditions.

📌 After the interview, you will have the opportunity to work introductory shifts to ensure that the position is right for you.
📌 If the introductory period goes well, you can be booked as needed during the spring and summer.
📌 Availability during weeks 24–33 is a requirement. We strive to offer as many weeks as possible in the position.
📌 Salary according to agreement. OB and on-call compensation according to collective agreement.
