The welfare sector consists of four areas: disability services, home care and home health care, individual and family care (IFO), and care homes. IFO in Ulricehamn municipality is responsible for a broad range of services within social services. This includes support for children, youth, and their families, support for adults, financial assistance, labor market initiatives, and the reception of newcomers.
The IFO housing unit consists of two parts: social psychiatric housing and HVB. By 2026, the current psychiatric housing will be complemented by an additional residence, which has created a need for a coordinator position. The existing psychiatric housing currently has eleven housing support workers, and an additional ten employees will be recruited for the new residence.
We are in a development phase where we are shaping our work based on a systems-theoretical approach. This means that we start from the individual's needs and design the interventions together with the individual. The coordinator will have a central role in this work. Clear communication, collaboration, and strengthening the individual's own resources are important parts of the assignment, with the goal that each individual receives support based on their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a coordinator, you will lead and distribute the daily work at the psychiatric residences on Jönköpingsvägen and the upcoming residence at Sanatorieskogen. You will have overall responsibility for the introduction of new employees, documentation, and the reception and distribution of incoming assignments. The work is carried out in close collaboration with social workers, healthcare, and other important actors. You will also be responsible for scheduling and routine work and contribute, together with the unit manager, to developing the systematic quality work.
The work involves supporting adults with decisions about housing with special services. As a coordinator, you will lead and distribute the daily work and serve as support for all employees in the operation.
The working hours are mainly during the day, but evening and weekend work may occur as needed. Flex agreements apply between 06:00 and 22:00. The coordinator may also be part of the regular staffing as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has at least a two-year post-secondary education in the social field. Experience working in social psychiatry or equivalent services is a requirement. A university degree in the social field is an advantage. Through your education and work experience, you have good knowledge of relevant legislation and the guidelines that govern documentation and implementation of interventions within social services.
To succeed in the role, you need to:
- Have a B driver's license (requirement)
- Experience in social change and treatment work
- Good structure and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Flexibility to adapt the workday based on the needs of the operation
- Very good collaboration skills
We consider it advantageous if you have:
- Experience working with comorbidity
- Knowledge of and experience with methods relevant to the target group
- Experience in leadership
