We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a long-term assignment at a larger international industrial company. The assignment is carried out in a development-oriented environment with a focus on mechanical design, quality, and future product solutions. You will be part of a smaller, cross-functional team where personal responsibility, flexibility, and collaboration are central parts of the work.

About the role
In the role of Mechanical Engineer, you will work with mechanical design in ongoing development projects. You are responsible for planning and driving your own work to ensure deliveries on time and with high quality. The work is done in close collaboration with other technical functions, testing activities, and external parties.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical design of components and systems
  • Independent planning and execution of design work
  • Collaboration with testing and verification functions regarding prototypes and evaluations
  • Technical dialogue with purchasing, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous development and quality assurance of new products

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design
  • Good knowledge of Catia V5
  • Experience in designing in steel and plastic
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Understanding of mechatronics or electronics is a plus
