About Silverpark
Silverpark is centrally located in Täby with easy access to public transport. Here, we provide support and care for those with dementia or care needs. The operation is run by Vardaga in its own right and has space for 62 clients, of which 18 places are for people with somatic illnesses, 36 places for people with dementia, and a department with a psychogeriatric focus that has eight places. It is in this department that you will work alongside an experienced team.
Food, meals, and activities are important areas at Silverpark, and the ambition level is high. Silverpark has its own chefs who handle all cooking.
The range of social activities for residents is extensive and is managed by our activity leaders together with you and other staff members.
Dementia certification: Silverpark is dementia certified, meaning that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and interaction via the Dementia Academy.
Young Care: We have a collaboration with Young Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care engages in various activities with us who work here to enhance the quality of life for the residents.
Animals in care: At Silverpark, therapy dog Flora works.
We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you, as an employee, have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation.
As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!
Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.
You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.
