Kista care and nursing home is operated by the City of Stockholm and is located near Kista center.

At the facility, there are residents with dementia and somatic illnesses. There are 7 units with 8-13 apartments in each.

We are looking for you who can work as a summer substitute.

Your role

As a nursing assistant, you provide care and social support to the elderly according to decisions made by the assistance officer. You help and support the resident in daily life to promote their functional ability and assist with their social contacts. You will be responsible for ensuring that residents participate in various activities and receive stimulation for their well-being, as well as offering the resident opportunities for outdoor activities. You will also have contact with relatives, participate in team meetings, and write social documentation.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• a high school education in the nursing program or proof of the right to use the title nursing assistant.
• good experience in documentation.
• very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is also an advantage if you have experience in service.

We need you to be secure, stress-resistant, and have the ability to see the overall perspective for both residents and the organization. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You should be service-oriented and able to collaborate easily with other professional categories and with relatives. We place great importance on the above-mentioned competencies, personal suitability, and commitment to the position.
