Job Description
You will belong to a cross-professional team, where your role will be to investigate the right to financial assistance but also have other responsibilities. Since we are a small unit, you may need to work cross-professionally. It will be relevant for you to support colleagues in other professions as needed within the teams.
As a social worker with a focus on financial assistance, you will work with the investigation and processing of social assistance. The work places great emphasis on finding solutions for self-sufficiency together with your colleagues in the labor market. We also work with guidance and collaboration around individuals who are not self-sufficient but need other help to achieve a reasonable standard of living. The work involves close cooperation with other authorities and organizations.
In your daily work, you will meet clients, document, conduct home visits, and sometimes travel for work.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Guidance towards self-sufficiency through the provision of services.
- Collaboration with internal and external actors.
- Investigative work according to SoL.
- Follow-up of granted services.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has another higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience of authority exercise.
You have the ability to make quick and clear decisions, both independently and together with others. You also have a good initiative.
You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions.
You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities.
You work well with others. Relate to them in a responsive and smooth way. Listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively.
You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and approach.
