Social Administration

The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act and are to implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry

With over 400 permanent employees, we are a provider organization aimed at children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL and have implementation responsibility for interventions regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by putting the individual at the center and collaborating to meet the individual's needs. The operation has a strong customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for cross-border work that is both inspiring and competency-developing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support for youth who often have good reasons to struggle with trust in adults. Patience and a lot of motivational work are required. You will help youth achieve good living conditions and utilize their own knowledge and experiences in work. Support in resolving arising difficulties, daily support, and support in creating safe and sustainable relationships. Support in understanding and gaining knowledge about how contacts with community organizations work, e.g., the employment agency, the social insurance agency, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least a two-year education at a vocational college in social work, e.g., treatment pedagogue or other post-secondary education deemed equivalent. Particularly meritorious if you have previously worked with vulnerable children/youth in some way.

You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when needed. You have the ability to distinguish between the issue and the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations. You easily adapt, develop, and learn new things according to changing demands, conditions, or circumstances.

You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach. You take active initiatives in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships.

You must have a B driving license.

As we have documentation requirements, it is important that you can express yourself well in both speech and writing; we currently use VIVA as our documentation system.
