Unit of Occupational Therapy and Psychosocial Support

is a new unit within Rehab East where social workers and family psychotherapists are part of a common organization within NSÖ (Primary Care in Eastern Östergötland).

We within the psychosocial support unit aim to offer patients:

  • interventions that provide conditions and support for the patient's own responsibility for their health

Job Description

We are now looking for a social worker at 100% for the unit of occupational therapy and psychosocial support, placed within outpatient and inpatient care at NSÖ's clinics at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. The tasks involve psychosocial work consisting of support conversations with patients and relatives, as well as advice and guidance on social issues. The work also includes consulting with healthcare staff within NSÖ's units regarding psychosocial issues. The work is stimulating and requires initiative and good collaboration skills. The unit consists of six social workers whose work is directed towards units within NSÖ's clinics (the emergency clinic, the medical clinic/LAH).

About You

You have a degree in social work and experience in psychosocial work. Experience in healthcare is desirable. The work requires good language skills in Swedish.

You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You have a professional approach and are a person who puts the patient in focus. We value good collaboration skills, flexibility, and responsibility. We place great importance on personal suitability.

This is a temporary position at 100% from March 1 to May 31, 2026. The length of employment may be adjusted depending on the degree of employment.
