We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and who want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Kastanjen elderly home in Linköping. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's wishes and abilities and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, meal serving, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It’s simply a very exciting job!

Kastanjen has 16 apartments spread over two floors, focusing on individuals with dementia. Each floor has a kitchen, dining/living room, and balconies overlooking the facility's garden. In our common areas, we socialize, have meals, and carry out activities. In our garden, we offer outdoor recreation and activities.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• It is highly meritorious if you have nursing assistant training (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
