About the Department
You will belong to the regiment's communication department located in the regiment's staff. The department is responsible for the regiment's internal and external communication, marketing and relationship communication, as well as defense information.
We have a wide range of tasks, from providing communicative support for defense operations and exercises, planning and producing material for our digital channels, to meeting different target groups and explaining what the Armed Forces' role is in the defense of Sweden. You will play an important role in this. With the breadth of tasks, there are great opportunities for professional development.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement planned recruitment activities and contribute to development in the area.
- Inform about the Armed Forces, Ing 2, and opportunities for continued engagement within the organization.
- Play a central role in meeting recruitment target groups, especially conscripts during basic training, to inform them about pathways to continued engagement in the Armed Forces.
- Participate in fairs and events within the relevant recruitment area.
- Staff the conscription and assessment authority as needed.
- Contribute to other activities within the department as needed, such as: photographing activities, supporting school visits, and other tasks that strengthen recruitment and information work.
- Support the unit's marketing and relationship communication.
Qualifications
- Completed and approved military basic training within the last five years or active service in the Armed Forces (GSS/K, GSS/T) in the last five years.
- Passed in Swedish 1/A, Math 1/A, and English 5/1 from high school.
- Driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
- Good physical ability.
Meritorious
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' tasks.
- Experience in oral presentation.
- Completed military basic training at Ing 2.
- Military driver's license.
Personal Qualities
You are engaged, communicative, and attentive as you will meet people with very different experiences and perspectives in your work. You need to have good collaboration skills and be outgoing as you are an ambassador for the entire Armed Forces. Furthermore, we see that you are a positive person and contribute to the team with a good atmosphere. You are prepared to be outdoors in the environments where we operate, such as participating in various exercises. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
