Lead Test Engineer

Absolent plans to double its testing operations in the coming years. Therefore, we are looking for a driven Lead Test Engineer for our Products department. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with all testing related to research and innovation, participate in new development projects, and continuously develop our products.

About the Role

In the role of Lead Test Engineer, you will play a central role in developing and leading our test lab in Lidköping. You will work with testing in electronics, electricity, mechanics, filtration processes, and participate in global projects and development initiatives together with our dedicated R&D team. You will be responsible for developing and standardizing testing methods, methodologies, and standard tests. At the same time, you will drive the introduction of new testing equipment to ensure that we remain at the forefront of technology. You will plan, develop, and implement verification and validation programs that support both current and future projects. In addition, you will actively work to improve processes and routines to optimize our working methods. You will conduct long-term tests and competitive analyses, providing us with valuable insights and contributing to our development and innovation moving forward. You will report to the R&D Director, and the position is based in Lidköping.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in testing and evaluation, preferably of products that combine electronics, mechanics, and performance processes. You are used to working systematically throughout the development chain, from idea to finished product, and enjoy both developing the lab operations and working operationally. To succeed in this role, good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required. As a person, you have strong social skills and appreciate collaboration with different functions. Your technical curiosity and ability to drive yourself forward are crucial for you to thrive and succeed in the role. You are genuine, self-aware, and willing to challenge existing working methods to improve our processes and methods. Your analytical approach is an asset in our ongoing work with development and improvement.
