Welcome to apply for the position of preschool assistant at the Trälleborg area preschools in Värnamo.

The area has two preschools, Förskolan Ekenhaga and Trälleborgs förskola. This position is based at Förskolan Ekenhaga. We have placed great emphasis on implementing the concept of Accessibility in our education. We work with images and signs as a complement to verbal language. We divide the children into smaller groups for most of the day. We find that this leads to increased participation and influence for the children and a better working environment for educators. We actively work to develop our quality work, where a central focus is the Swedish National Agency for Education's targeted efforts to develop knowledge about how we support all children's languages.

Responsibilities

As a preschool assistant, you have an outstanding opportunity to influence the conditions for each child's development through an exploratory and creative approach. By being present and curious about what the children are interested in, you can help create developing learning environments. You will be guided by a pedagogical leader, where you together work actively with pedagogical planning, documentation, reflection, and follow-up based on the curriculum's guidelines. The work is conducted in a trusting manner and in close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a preschool assistant education and a good understanding of the preschool's mission and curriculum. You have a solution-oriented approach and contribute to a positive work environment. You possess a pedagogical perspective that combines professional care and teaching. We place great importance on personal suitability and the ability to think innovatively and solution-focused. Extensive experience in introducing children and guardians is an asset, as well as experience with children in need of support. We would like you to attach a personal letter and CV.

Conditions
