The Individual and Family Care Department in Jönköping Municipality is seeking summer substitutes for our operations in treatment, support, and integration.

Do you have completed or ongoing education in the field and are a stable person with the ability to create and maintain good relationships? Then you are the one we are looking for!

Your new job

Common to the operations is that we work from a holistic perspective where each individual's different needs are taken into account. The tasks are varied and can involve everything from support and assistance with physical and mental health, employment, or accompanying visits to various authorities. All work with clients is carried out in close collaboration with caseworkers and other actors who positively influence the client's change process. You will also work with documentation.

Your qualifications

You who apply to us have ongoing or completed KY education with a focus on treatment, social work, social pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

We would like you to have experience working with treatment, support, and motivation for youth, adults, or families. MI and low-affect responses are desirable. You must be proficient in the Swedish language in speaking, reading, and writing as you will need to communicate with citizens and colleagues and be able to write and read notes in daily work.

You must have a B driver's license and be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

Welcome to us

HVB Kärrarp - Here, girls aged 13-20 with psychosocial problems reside. Kärrarp has 7 places and the possibility for emergency placements around the clock. Those who live here are youth based on SoL or LVU. The staff works together with the youth to make everyday life function and to find tools to prepare for the future. Motivation, structure, support, and trust are important parts of the work.

HVB Prinseryd - Here, boys aged 13-20 with psychosocial issues, behavioral problems, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities reside. The accommodation has 8 places and also allows for emergency placements around the clock. Placements are made with support from SoL or LVU. The staff works together with the youth to make everyday life function. Motivation, structure, support, and trust are important parts of the work.

Tellus - Tellus is a support accommodation within the Individual and Family Care Department, Jönköping Municipality. In your work, you will be a support in the daily life of our youth (ages 16-21) who live in independent apartments in central Jönköping. We work based on the decision that the individual has according to the Social Services Act (SoL). Based on the decision, we work with an implementation plan. The youth need support and help in their daily lives.

Good to know

We are looking for a couple of summer substitutes for each operation, about 9 in total. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, awake night, and with or without sleeping on-call/night duty depending on which operation you work in. We work with joint planning, which means that work with several citizens or in another unit may be relevant. The start and end of your summer substitute position will be agreed upon with the recruiting manager.

We want you to be able to work 2 full holiday periods with us, and we will prioritize applicants who can do this. If you have relevant grades/certificates, please attach these. A B driver's license is a requirement, and you must be able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.

Interviews and selections are ongoing. Before employment, a background check must be submitted from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal and suspicion register according to the provisions of the law (2007:171) on background checks for such homes for care or accommodation that receive children. Please bring this unopened to an interview.
