You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and group manager who work closely together.

About Storängen: Storängen is a care home located in the Storäng area of Söderköping. The accommodation consists of three houses: Gläntan, Tallgården, and Dalgården.

Gläntan has a total of 18 apartments, of which 6 are for permanent residents and 12 are short-term places. Tallgården has 18 apartments for permanent residents. Dalgården is located a couple of hundred meters away with a total of 32 apartments for permanent residents. Each department has a shared kitchen and pleasant spaces for socializing and meals. There is a shared outdoor area and balconies.

Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

Storängen has an activity manager at 75% who, together with the activity representatives, plans and carries out activities for all residents at Storängen. Activities are an important part of care. Activities are offered daily in smaller groups, where everyone should be able to find something particularly fun or stimulating. The various joint activities are presented each week in an activity schedule on the departments.

Your experience and knowledge We guess that you who are applying to us: - are attracted to a job that is varied and requires great knowledge of care and nursing but also a talent for meeting people in different situations. - are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility. - enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues. We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or have equivalent experience in elderly care. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow. Other Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Start date: By agreement.
