Campus Västervik is a local campus, which means that we are owned and operated by Västervik municipality, but all place-based education and research take place in collaboration with colleges and universities. Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include coordinating education, courses, and activities with colleges, universities, vocational education providers (YH), the labor market, students, and employees at Campus Västervik. You will have ongoing contact and collaboration with employers in the private and public sectors.

You ensure that a close and regular dialogue is maintained with existing and new educational institutions and providers. Needs analyses and the development of action plans are part of your daily work. You will engage in dialogues with educational institutions and providers that are then anchored with the educational coordinator and campus manager, leading to new courses and programs at Campus Västervik. Thus, you will be an important cog in creating conditions for a broader range and increased opportunities for more people to develop their skills.

You will support the campus manager and educational coordinator regarding agreements with colleges, universities, and YH providers. You are responsible for and ensure annual activities within your area, such as launches, graduations, VFU planning work, and initiating and organizing workshops and study visits. You will systematically work with information flow and ensure a well-functioning dialogue with the various areas of the organization, and that planning, follow-up, and development work is done to ensure the best study quality for our students at Campus Västervik.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Administrative routines related to the education process
• Monitoring developments in higher education
• Initiating dialogues with educational providers for an expanded range of courses and programs
• Compiling data and reports
• Representing Campus at external activities and meetings
• Other administrative tasks as needed

New needs may affect the tasks included.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree that we consider relevant for the position. A B driver's license is required. It is advantageous if you have experience working in higher education in the form of vocational, university, and/or college education as well as in a politically governed organization.

In your role, you will work in a team, so good collaboration skills are very important. You also have good pedagogical skills and are comfortable working pedagogically in groups. You have the ability to see the big picture, take initiative, and handle multiple assignments, emerging situations, and, if necessary, new tasks, while independently planning and organizing your work.

Furthermore, you are also a skilled problem solver who can quickly identify solutions to emerging problems and implement them. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. It is also important that you have good digital skills and can easily adapt to new technology.
