Description
Are you a person who is engaged and wants to help others?
We offer paid assignments for those who want to help create good days for some Karlstad residents who need extra support.
To get an assignment with us, you need to have a commitment and interest in other people as well as some extra time in your daily life. We have no educational requirements, but you must be at least 18 years old.
You need to have an independent and flexible working style and be proficient in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form to communicate effectively with the care recipient, relatives, colleagues, and other professionals. The assignment also includes some documentation.
Escort
As an escort, you can help a person with disabilities participate in activities in the community. This could include going to the movies, attending training sessions, visiting swimming pools, or taking a walk. Escort services should be personalized and tailored to each individual.
As an escort, you will receive compensation per hour. If you incur expenses related to your assignment, you will be reimbursed upon presentation of a receipt.
Contact Person
As a contact person, you are a friend who can help find leisure activities or provide advice in everyday situations, thereby reducing social isolation. The essence of the assignment is to provide another person with meaningful leisure time and the opportunity for increased independence.
As a contact person, you will receive compensation in the form of a fee and reimbursement for expenses.
Reliever
As a reliever, you temporarily take over the care of a child or youth with disabilities from their parents. You give the parents the opportunity to spend time with any siblings or for their own activities.
As a reliever, you will receive an hourly wage and possible supplements for inconvenient working hours.
Other
Interviews and appointments will be conducted continuously during the application period.
Before confirming an assignment, we will request an extract from the criminal record.
