Job Responsibilities

Do you want to use your support pedagogical skills where they are most needed? We are looking for two support pedagogues who, in addition to the basic assignment, have a flexible role to temporarily support operations during vacancies, absences, or ongoing recruitment, focusing on operational quality and continuity.

For Nordost 1, we are seeking a support pedagogue with a focus on intellectual disabilities and autism. The assignment includes daily activities, housing with special services, and short-term activities. You will be part of a management team with 10 unit managers, two staffing controllers, and a method developer.

For Nordost 2, we are looking for a support pedagogue with broad competence. You will work within daily activities and housing with special services and will be part of a management team with 13 unit managers, a method developer, and a business developer.

You will be based in new and fresh premises at Angereds Torg 9 and will be part of a closely collaborative team with method and business developers for all of Nordost. Together with the operations manager, you will drive the development work forward!

About the Assignment

You are employed as a support pedagogue and have a specific flexible assignment that can be assigned and reprioritized based on the needs of the operations. The assignment means that you will temporarily enter an assigned operation(s) and perform the tasks of a support pedagogue to ensure quality in daily work.

You will, among other things:

• cover support pedagogue vacancies during absences or recruitment for a limited time
• provide hands-on support to the workgroup in implementation, work methods, and structure in daily life
• strengthen operational quality work, especially regarding social documentation and implementation plans
• contribute to a shared understanding of responses, pedagogical methods, and participation
• create a brief current situation report and handover when the assignment in an operation concludes

The position is daytime, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours apply.

The employment is organized under the operations manager, while the assignment is carried out in dialogue with the unit manager where you are placed. You will be based on the needs and priorities of the operation but will always work in line with the support pedagogue's assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a YH education as a support pedagogue (or other education deemed equivalent by the employer). You need to have experience working within LSS operations (or equivalent support operations). You also possess a good ability to work with social documentation, implementation plans, and follow-up in daily life. You have the ability to guide/coach colleagues in a safe, pedagogical, and structured manner. You should also have good Swedish in speech and writing.

If you are applying for Nordost 1, you need to have experience in intellectual disabilities and autism.

Experience working in operations with change/transformation or temporary vacancies is an advantage. It is also positive if you have experience with AAC/alternative communication and individualized working methods. Experience in care and support coordination is also meritorious. If you have experience leading/reflecting in workgroups regarding responses and working methods, this is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is confident in the support pedagogue role and plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. You see opportunities for change, create space for new ideas, and motivate others by pedagogically explaining changes.

At the same time, you have a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and adapt the way you convey your message. You also encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. We also see that you convey information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. You ensure that your message gets through.
