At the Adult Unit, there are a total of seven social workers, four focusing on harmful use and dependency (SoL and LVM), three social workers with a focus on social psychiatry (SoL), one senior social worker, one coordinator, three treatment assistants, and one unit manager.

Your Mission

As a senior social worker, your role includes leading and distributing the daily work within the unit. You will work towards the unit's established goals and be proactive in the development work ahead. Furthermore, you will be responsible for environmental monitoring and promoting and facilitating collaboration both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who encourages dialogue, participation, and engagement. You have a good demeanor, enjoy collaborating, and perform your tasks with genuine interest. You should be flexible, able to listen and see things from different perspectives, have good organizational skills, and be able to express yourself very well in both speech and writing.

You need to have a good ability to understand the operation from both a client, employee, and employer perspective. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results.

In the role of senior social worker, you provide methodological support to social workers in case handling and legal matters. You always strive to maintain legal security in the unit's authority practice.

You are responsible for ensuring that social workers work in accordance with the political mandate and the regulations governing our work, which also includes quality assurance of case handling.

Furthermore, as a senior social worker, you are part of the unit's management team, which means you work on behalf of the unit manager and are expected to contribute to the unit's goal work and development. An important part of the job is to adapt your leadership and methodological support according to the needs of the social workers. The role also involves representing the administration in various contexts within the municipality and representing the board in administrative court.

You will work closely with a unit manager who has a clear leadership style, with a strong focus on working in a structured and thoughtful manner to ensure that the unit operates in a legally secure and efficient way.

Requirements for the Position

Mandatory:

• Degree in Social Work.
• Previous experience as a senior social worker.
• Experience in authority practice.
• Good knowledge of legislation (SoL and LVM).
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly, as the work involves cooperation with various units and authorities.
• Driver's license.

Meritorious:

• Leading without being a manager or similar leadership training.
• Several years of experience as a senior social worker.
• Experience as a senior social worker in the field of harmful use and dependency and/or social psychiatry.
• Previous experience in harmful use and dependency and/or social psychiatry.
• Experience with the IBIC and ASI methods.
• Experience and knowledge of the evidence-based methods used in harmful use and dependency care.
• Knowledge/experience of the operational systems Combine and Treserva.
• Work according to the new Social Services Act, such as in the form of interventions without needs assessment, IUB.

To obtain employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record must be presented.
