Do you want to be part of creating change together with a team that is passionate about helping children, young people, and adults in vulnerable and complex life situations? We offer housing and support to individuals who, for various reasons, need safety, structure, and professional treatment. Our operations include both sheltered housing, supported housing (both sheltered and non-sheltered) for young people, as well as family/emergency homes.
The operations are conducted under a permit from IVO in all areas. Our work is always based on the individual's needs, conditions, and life situation.

We primarily work with target groups such as
- Individuals in need of protection due to violence in close relationships
- Individuals in need of protection due to honor-related violence
- Individuals who cannot live at home due to conflict-filled or otherwise inadequate home conditions
Our goal is to create a trusting and motivating everyday life in a home-like and safe environment, with a care chain characterized by structure, continuity, and qualified staff. Here, there is room for the individual's experiences, feelings, and processes with the aim of strengthening the individual's self-esteem, independence, and trust in the future. We work to provide our residents with individualized tools and support in their development based on their age, background, and individual-specific needs. This may include receiving support to process difficult experiences, developing strategies for everyday life, and having the opportunity to explore their identity and resources. In close collaboration with each individual, we strive to create conditions for a safe and independent life with increased participation, decision-making rights, and the ability to make active choices for their own future.
The Role
The position involves work at our supported housing (working with young people aged 16-21), sheltered housing (adults and accompanying children), as well as support for family/emergency homes - i.e., all parts of our care chain. In the role of treatment educator, one bases their work on current routines and guidelines as well as the residents' individual needs and wishes to plan and implement interventions. The position is varied, and as a treatment educator, one is responsible in daily work for meeting and working with clients in a safe, stable, and professional manner. In the operations, we base our work on a pedagogical and low-arousal approach. Together with colleagues and the manager, you work to create meaningful and enriching days with a focus on building an independent everyday life even after the placement period. The tasks include, among other things, case management, client work, care and safety planning, contacts with authorities, and documentation. The work also includes everyday chores and activities that contribute to a safe, structured, and pleasant living environment, such as household chores. You support and guide in matters related to meals, exercise, cleaning, finances, leisure interests, school contact, and communication. The role also includes planning, following up, and documenting interventions based on applicable care and implementation plans.
We are looking for
Working with us places high demands on flexibility, communication, and good collaboration skills. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, has a low-arousal approach, and a good ability to handle stress.
To thrive in the role of treatment educator with us, we believe that you are communicative, attentive, and relationship-building with a well-established sense of security in yourself. You should be practically oriented and solution-focused, and when necessary, be able to set appropriate boundaries to create clarity and safety - but also be able to guide clients to do this themselves. You should enjoy working independently and have a great sense of personal responsibility in your daily work, but with close collaboration with the rest of the team. Having a structured working method and being able to make prioritization assessments is of great importance. Being flexible is an important part of the job as we work with authorities and with people where needs can change rapidly.
Qualifications
- It is very positive if you have documented education and experience in the areas of violence in close relationships, honor-related violence, and working with people in crisis.
- Furthermore, it is a great advantage if you have experience working with children who have witnessed/been subjected to violence.
- Training in TMO, MI, FREDA, SARA, Trappansamtal, and PATRIARK, as well as language skills (in addition to Swedish and English), are meritorious.
- At least 2 years of post-secondary education in social, care, or health work
- Knowledge of BBIC and SOL
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, as well as computer skills
- Driving license B and a clean record from the police's suspicion and criminal record
- Training in Patriark/Sara, MI, Trappansamtal, empowerment, or TMO is meritorious.
- Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities
The position involves 5 shifts a week with flexible working hours. You will be involved in your scheduling but need to be able to work both day and evening shifts, as well as some weekends as needed. It may also be relevant to have staff working 50-75% of the time and on an as-needed basis, so please feel free to submit your CV even if you cannot work 100%. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis as we wish for a prompt hiring of the right person whom we hope will become part of a fantastic team. Warm welcome with your application!
Other: Since the entire operational chain is protected, the application process is only via the email below. Due to time constraints, we will only contact those we wish to invite for an interview via phone or email, where they will be given more information and can ask further questions about the operations and the position before a digital interview is scheduled. A personal meeting will be part of the recruitment process, and a record from the suspicion and criminal record will then be requested.
Open to all We focus on your competence, not your other circumstances. We are open to adapting the role or workplace according to your needs.
