The Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, qualified emergency care is provided around the clock by competent and dedicated staff across all specialty areas. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the closeness and community of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers care with short waiting times across all specialties to the residents of the catchment area.

The Gynecology, Surgery, and ENT Department in Kristianstad belongs to the obstetrics and gynecology area, and patients who belong to gynecology, surgery, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) come here. We care for patients both after elective surgeries and in emergency situations where we offer inpatient care with 15 beds. There are about 40 staff members in the department, and we have over 1,400 inpatient patients annually. Within our area, we also have an admission department where we prepare for examinations and treatments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a healthcare assistant, you have a significant role in a diverse and educational environment, where you work with varying tasks and often face new situations in a typical day. In our ward, we work in cross-functional teams. In this role, you will assist in the basic and specific care of both our inpatients and our day care patients.

We offer you a varied job with the opportunity for continuous development both within your professional role as a healthcare assistant and participation in the work of developing and improving care in the unit. In our department, we work a lot with professional development, and we have a training healthcare assistant who supports our new employees by conducting practical training and clinical supervision. We provide care around the clock every day of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained healthcare assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied under previous or current program structures. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Experience working in an emergency department and previous experience with the Melior journal system is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with good organizational skills who can prioritize their work when an emergency situation arises.
