Our clinic is located on the hospital grounds in close proximity to the emergency department in Ystad. Here at the Evening and Weekend Clinic, we assess and treat patients at the primary care level where care cannot wait until the next weekday. We have the mission to meet citizens' needs for urgent, unplanned primary care in the evenings and weekends. High medical quality, continuity, high availability, and patient safety are our focus, and we always put the patient's best interests at the center. From April 1, 2025, we will belong to the new administration Close Care and Health.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you ensure that all our patients receive a good reception and professional care. You perform nursing tasks that are commonly found in urgent primary care, such as triaging at drop-in and telephone advice.

Your working hours are primarily scheduled for evenings and weekends, but there will also be some work outside our opening hours, which involves developing the clinic, working with your own area of responsibility, and collaborating with nearby units. The degree of employment is flexible between 50 percent and 100 percent.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably further educated as a district nurse, with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. If you have experience working in a health center and/or in acute care, this is an advantage. For the position, it is important that you have a good understanding of the care processes that occur in primary care and specialized acute care.

As a person, you are responsible, have a good sense of meeting people in different life situations, and are grounded in a positive attitude. Additionally, you actively contribute to the development of the organization and always work in the best interests of the patients and the organization. Since we work in interdisciplinary teams, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with other professional categories and that you have good communication skills.
