Seize the opportunity to be part of our day surgery operations with the ability to make an impact! We are now welcoming an anesthetic nurse who works only daytime and is off on public holidays and weekends.

At the Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK), we perform approximately 4000 day surgeries per year, of which about a quarter are children. Day Surgery Kristianstad (DagOp) has a total of about 19 places divided into DagOp A, which primarily monitors adult patients, and DagOp B, which primarily monitors children. Our team consists of specialist nurses, general nurses, and nursing assistants. In daily operations, there are always two anesthesiologists available. We also have a unique anesthetic clinic in Sweden where anesthetic nurses meet all day surgery patients before anesthesia.

We work to create better flows for both patients and staff while offering you varied tasks with secure routines.

The area of anesthesiology/surgery/intensive care operates at CSK and consists of central operations, recovery department for day surgery, anesthetic clinic, postoperative department, sterile technical unit, pain clinic, and intensive care unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an anesthetic nurse to join us at Day Surgery in Kristianstad.

We are looking for someone who appreciates renewal, smooth flows, teamwork, and the opportunity to develop the operations. As an anesthetic nurse, you will work at the anesthetic clinic, with the possibility of rotation to the operating room (C-Op) or recovery department. At DagOp, we take care of patients in surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), dentistry, and ophthalmology.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have a specialist education in anesthesiology. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. Experience in similar work is an advantage for the position.

As a person, you are structured and have good organizational skills, while being able to prioritize your work based on changing circumstances. We value teamwork and that you enjoy working closely with colleagues in various healthcare professions.
