Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Electricité De France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Cyclife is in a significant growth phase and conducts nuclear technology operations at the Studsvik area outside Nyköping, employing over 230 people. The company has unique specialist expertise in the decommissioning of radiological facilities and helps its clients minimize environmental impact from their radiological activities.

The Swedish facility is located in the archipelago outside Nyköping. About the role

As a production engineer with us, you will be part of an engaged team that together creates efficient processes and high quality in production. In this role, you will work practically close to production and drive technical solutions forward. It is a broad and varied position where you combine operational efforts with administrative tasks that require structure and precision.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and improving production equipment and processes.
• Conducting feasibility studies, method selections, and time studies to optimize flows.
• Leading or contributing technical expertise in projects for new equipment procurement.
• Working on improvement initiatives and participating in standardization initiatives such as LEAN and 5S.
• Collaborating with production, service, and maintenance technicians to create the best possible solutions.
• Ensuring correct documentation and reporting project status to the department manager or business area manager.

Requirements for the position

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a production engineering background, preferably with experience in improvement work within the industry.
• Has a degree as a bachelor of engineering in mechanical engineering or equivalent education.
• Has good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Has experience in administrative work.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of LEAN.
• Experience with SAP or similar business systems.

We believe that you are a communicative and solution-oriented person who enjoys working closely with production. You like to collaborate with different functions and drive improvements forward. You take initiative, are action-oriented, and gather information directly from the operations to create the best solutions.

Location: Studsvik outside Nyköping. Work is primarily on-site.

Employment rate: Full-time.
