Operations Engineer Energy & HVAC – Join us in shaping sustainable properties for the future
Do you want to work strategically with energy and HVAC in a role where technology, business acumen, and customer benefit go hand in hand? At Kfast, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and stay at the forefront of energy and environment – together with engaged colleagues in Eskilstuna's largest property company.
Our ambition is clear. We aim to become Sweden's best property company, with properties that function well in everyday life and create value over time.
Responsibilities
As an operations engineer in Energy and HVAC, you play a central role in developing and managing our technical systems, with particular responsibility for water, heating, and process media systems. You drive and participate in energy and HVAC projects from planning to implementation. You are responsible for procurement documentation, participate in bid evaluations, and assist in inspections. You also ensure that operational documentation is updated and accurate. In this role, you will have contact with consultants and contractors. You order services, follow up on work, and ensure that we receive the right quality at the right cost. You provide technical support to management and help solve technical issues as they arise.
The role is clearly development-oriented. You work strategically with maintenance planning, energy efficiency, and technology development. Digital tools, modern analytical tools, and AI are part of your work. With your expert perspective, you contribute to larger contracts, follow-ups, and collaboration forums where the focus is on quality, customer, economy, and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, service-oriented, and communicative, with good technical and analytical skills. You have a relevant academic background in energy and HVAC and several years of experience working with technical systems in heating, HVAC, and control technology. You have experience with energy facilities and HVAC installations. It is advantageous if you have worked with energy monitoring systems and analysis where you have developed action proposals. It is also positive if you have experience with status and contract inspections, report writing, and the use of AI support in energy efficiency. The position requires you to be able to read and understand drawings, functional descriptions, and technical documentation. Good IT skills, knowledge of industry regulations for HVAC, and a B driver's license are required for the position. Knowledge of technical English is an advantage.
At Kfast, you will have a flexible and varied position where you combine social benefit with business acumen. Together we create sustainable properties so that life has space and places come to life. Your work contributes to our shared ambition to become Sweden's best property company.
We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis - We warmly welcome your application today!
