Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

As an employee with us, you work closely with clients in their home environment and contribute to a safe, dignified, and meaningful everyday life. The work is varied and based on person-centered care.

Your job responsibilities include, among other things:

• Providing care and support to clients with somatic needs and cognitive illnesses
• Assisting with personal care, service interventions, and social support
• Creating security and continuity through a good approach
• Medication management after approved delegation
• Working based on help for self-help to strengthen independence
• Heavy lifting may occur

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and/or have experience working in healthcare. If you have experience in the healthcare profession, it is considered an advantage. Since you will have daily contact with care recipients and document, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. For this home care area, a driver's license is required. You need to be able to perform physically demanding work with a lot of movement where heavy lifting may occur. You can work according to basic hygiene routines and in short-sleeved shirts and can work with both men and women.
