The Hospital in Ystad is an emergency hospital operating 24/7, offering a wide range of both planned and emergency specialized care. We provide healthcare with high quality and good accessibility, where a holistic view and care are always at the center.

Every year, approximately 5000 surgeries are performed at the hospital, of which about one-third are emergency procedures.

Our surgical operations include general surgery, gynecology, urology, ear-nose-throat, and orthopedics. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations planner, you are the coordinating link between the patient and the various professions at the hospital. You ensure that each patient has the best conditions before their surgery. Your overarching goal is to optimize the operating rooms' schedule with a focus on accessibility, patient safety, and a sustainable work environment. Furthermore, you primarily work in Orbit and Melior, but also use other systems involved in the preoperative process. You largely control your own workday and mainly work from your own office, with phone and computer as your main tools. Additionally, you are in close collaboration with other operations planners, the anesthesiologist nurse reception, and the anesthesiologist reception, as well as maintaining ongoing contact with the operating department and the surgical specialties.

In the role of anesthesiologist nurse, you work in a perioperative team and play a central role in creating safe and secure care for the patient throughout the process. You participate in alarms and are also responsible for various types of transports.

We have five operating rooms in central operations, one day surgery room in a separate building, and one delivery room in the maternity department. The emergency operations include procedures in orthopedics, surgery/urology, and gynecology.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. You are a trained specialist nurse with a focus on anesthesiology nursing. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. We prefer that you have at least two years of experience as an anesthesiologist nurse.
