The Emergency Department in Gävle is ready to receive all patients regardless of illness, 24/7, all year round. We currently have about 120 employees who together create a safe and effective care for our patients. The emergency department is a dynamic workplace where you meet patients with acute conditions in medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and psychiatry. Working in the emergency department is exciting, developing, and very educational.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in Spotcheck at the emergency department, you work in an early stage of the care process. You meet the patient directly upon arrival, perform initial assessments and prioritizations, and initiate the right actions to optimize the care flow. Your work is crucial for ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right level.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good clinical assessment skills who is confident in acute situations. You should thrive in a dynamic environment and be able to make quick decisions. You also want to contribute to good structure and clear care flows where the right patient ends up at the right care level.

In the role of nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience in primary care.
