JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ockelbo Municipality is now looking for nurses/district nurses for summer temporary positions in Home Care.

You will work in a smaller health and medical care organization that staffs home care, special housing, and LSS operations in Ockelbo Municipality. The organization consists of a cohesive workgroup including district nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions as well as documenting these.

In home care, most nurses and district nurses work shifts that include days, evenings, and weekends. There are also nurses who work night shifts. During so-called on-call hours, i.e., evenings, nights, and weekends, a working nurse collaborates closely with other care staff in the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Relevant further education, such as district nurse or dementia nurse, as well as experience in similar work is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on being responsible, having good communication skills, and being able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

We also place great importance on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for employment. A probationary period may be applied.

Within Ockelbo Municipality, there is a political decision that a criminal record check is required upon hiring.
