Gävle Municipality is seeking licensed nurses for home health care during the summer of 2026. The assignment includes work within Home Health Care, VÅBO, and LSS and is aimed at those who want to work broadly within municipal health and medical care with significant personal responsibility.

The need is extensive, and the municipality is looking for approximately 25–30 consultants, distributed across all areas: East, South, North, and West. Start and end dates may therefore vary slightly depending on placement.

• Nursing responsibility as a nurse within municipal health and medical care
• Standard nursing tasks
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of nursing interventions
• Collaboration with other care and support staff
• Supervision of nursing staff
• Identify and prevent health risks according to evidence-based practice
• Documentation and communication with patients, relatives, and care teams

The work is based on a holistic perspective where both the patient and relatives are in focus.

• Licensed nurse
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Valid SITHS card
• Experience in municipal care, home health care, or LSS is an advantage
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently
• Very good documentation and communication skills in Swedish
