Specialist Physician in Dermatology and Venereology Wanted at the Dermatology Clinic in Gävle

The Dermatology Clinic in Gävle is located in Tullhuset just a few minutes' walk from the central station. We conduct both outpatient services and outpatient surgical operations and are a modern clinic that handles large patient flows. Here, about 40 employees work, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We also have branches in Sandviken, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, Hudiksvall, and Ljusdal. Together, we actively work on development to meet future healthcare needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are at the forefront of teledermatoscopy/dermatology, and our ambition level is high regarding both inflammatory skin diseases, skin tumors, and venereology. We run a well-developed outpatient and surgical service and have a well-established collaboration with primary care through teledermatoscopic assessments and with pathology, surgery, ENT, and oncology clinics for the continued flow of skin tumors. You will work independently but be part of a cross-professional team with other occupational categories to carry out qualitative and comprehensive work for our patients. For us, patient safety, workplace environment, and professional development are highly prioritized. As a specialist physician, you have a high degree of influence and are involved in driving the development of the operations forward.

Your main responsibilities

• patient consultations regarding both dermatology and venereology
• assess teledermatoscopy referrals
• perform surgeries
• educate other clinics through lectures
• supervise and teach residents during their training.
