AT Doctor at Hudiksvall Hospital

In Region Gävleborg, there are three hospitals. Hudiksvall and Gävle are our two acute hospitals, while Bollnäs has an acute medical mission for southern Hälsingland. Together, we ensure safe and accessible care for the entire region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an AT doctor with us, you will have excellent opportunities to transform your theoretical knowledge into practical skills. During your placements, you will be part of the staffing with close and valuable support from more experienced colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, likes to collaborate, and who contributes to a good atmosphere in the team. You have good self-awareness and sound judgment. You are someone who sees what needs to be done and takes responsibility for driving the work forward while being able to adapt when circumstances change. We also appreciate your ability to convey messages clearly and engagingly, tailored to the audience.

To do AT with us, you need

  • a Swedish medical degree or a decision and permit from the National Board of Health and Welfare to complete AT
  • good knowledge of the Swedish language at least at C1 level.

It is advantageous if you have experience in

  • working in Region Gävleborg and especially in Hudiksvall/Hälsingland
  • working as a junior doctor and/or medical assistant
  • other clinical work within healthcare
  • research beyond the scientific work included in medical education
  • the role of a leader
  • working as a teaching assistant or equivalent.

In addition, we would like you to have an interest in a more long-term collaboration and a desire to contribute to developing the operation.

  • Medical degree certificate or an extract from the study register for courses completed so far.
  • A copy of the National Board of Health and Welfare's decision to complete AT if you studied outside Sweden.
