AT Physician at Bollnäs Hospital

In Region Gävleborg, there are three hospitals. Hudiksvall and Gävle are our two acute hospitals, while Bollnäs has an emergency medical mission for southern Hälsingland. Together, we ensure safe and accessible care for the entire region.

Bollnäs Hospital serves a population of 65,000 residents. Surgical/orthopedic placements and psychiatric inpatient care are located in Gävle, while all other duties are performed in the Bollnäs area. This provides you with a solid medical foundation while allowing you to work in hospitals of varying sizes and missions, giving you a comprehensive view of our region. We are a smaller, friendly hospital that offers you a unique opportunity to do much, develop, and grow in your role as a physician. RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, likes to collaborate, and contributes to a good atmosphere in the team. You have good self-awareness and sound judgment. You are someone who sees what needs to be done and takes responsibility for driving the work forward while having the ability to adapt when circumstances change. We also appreciate your ability to convey messages clearly and engagingly, tailored to the audience.

To do your residency with us, you need

• a Swedish medical degree or a decision and permit from the National Board of Health and Welfare to complete your residency
• good knowledge of the Swedish language at least at C1 level.

It is an advantage if you have experience in

• working in Region Gävleborg
• working as a junior doctor and/or medical assistant
• other clinical work within healthcare
• research beyond the scientific work included in medical education
• leadership roles
• working as an assistant or equivalent.

In addition, we would like you to have an interest in a more long-term collaboration and a willingness to contribute to the development of the operations.

• A copy of the National Board of Health and Welfare's decision to complete your residency if you studied outside Sweden.
